At Sea to Sky Thrivers’ we believe eating nutritious organic fruits and vegetables is the best way you can invest in your health – fueling your body with a broad spectrum of antioxidants, phytonutrients (aka phytochemicals), vitamins, minerals, and fibres. 

Since childhood, we’ve been told to “eat your greens!”, but what about our oranges, whites, browns, reds, purples and blues? As creatures of habit, it’s easy to get stuck in a routine of eating the same types of fruits and vegetables over and over again.

H20 - Learning to hydrate with food

You’ve probably heard we should be drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. For some of us, myself included, that can seem like a daunting task. But here’s the secret; you don’t have to drink all that water... you can eat it! Approximately 20% of our daily H2O intake comes from solid foods, particularly fruits and vegetables. There is an abundance of fruit and vegetables that have a high-water content, are refreshing and packed with vitamins, minerals, fibre and protein.
