22 Million Strong Tour

Sea to Sky Thrivers Founder, Nicolette Richer, kicked off her 22 Million Strong initiative with a 3,200km run/bike around BC in July 2021. Join her on the 22 Million Strong Facebook Page to see if she will be passing through your region!

The Trans-Canada tour has been postponed to the summer of 2023, when Nicolette will run/bike 7,200 km across Canada, fueled entirely by a plant-based, whole-food eating plan.

As part of Nicolette’s PhD research through Royal Roads University, she will stop in towns and cities in each province to connect with and work alongside BIPOC community leaders, physicians, and youth to uncover barriers to food security, soil regeneration, and healthy eating and living.

The full feature-length documentary
‘Food of our Ancestors’ will be filmed during the Trans-Canada Tour in 2023.

She is on a mission to educate 22 million people on how to use traditional, unrefined, plant-based, whole-foods as medicine to reverse chronic illness and disease. The first mini-doc ‘Grounded in my Roots’ is about an urgent call to come back to our roots, to pre-settler, whole-foods as our foundation, as our medicine. We need to respect the BIPOC ways of knowing…what science has been telling us for over 200 years is that traditional foods are our medicine.
