Vicky Bunbury has lived a good deal of her life in Whistler and has deep roots in the community. Early on in her career, Vicky was Manager of the Whistler Kids children’s ski school on Whistler Mountain followed by Manager of Planning for the Whistler Kids programs and facilities on both mountains. In 2002, Vicky became the Director of Administration of the Whistler Waldorf School, an independent non-profit school she helped found in 1999, supporting and leading the organization from a home-school initiative with 3 children to a pre-k to grade 12 school of over 200 students today. 

In her current role as Executive Director of the Whistler Summit Centre, Vicky is focusing on building a campus to serve the entire community. Vicky served on the Board of Trustees of the Vancouver Waldorf School and currently serves as the Leadership Council Member for the Pacific Northwest Region of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. In her spare time, Vicky enjoys living a healthy, active lifestyle in the beautiful west coast mountains with her husband Ian, and spending time with her two grown sons.
